5 reasons to travel Solo and #SayYesToTheWorld

The feeling of travelling alone is completely different as compared to going on a trip with groups or two. While a trip with friends and families can be memorable and fun, but it is always an enriching experience to travel solo.
If you ask me, I would probably tell you how travelling solo was something which has always been in ‘Bucket List’ ever since I got my hands on my passport. Not that I don't want a travel companion, but it is rather the need of a 'Me' time which is something I crave for. I find it as a way of filling up a positive vibes, a life changing experience or more about bringing you closer to yourself and the world.

Given a chance anytime, I would leave everything behind, and keep going back to globetrotting alone. Any time. Imagine how you will get to see and discover better things without worrying about who you came with. It's not just the place you get to explore, the diverse culture differences, the food, the people but it's more about the peaceful vibe of enjoying a sunset with constant connection to your inner soul.
Here, I can give you 5 reasons on why travelling solo can make you want to #SayYesToTheWorld

  • Confidence Booster- Travelling alone itself is a big achievement. The ability to carry your own luggage and finding the way to your motel can do more than just boost your confidence level, it also means you can handle your own responsibilities and challenges.  You will be in constant reminder that you can do it alone. Also, there is less chances of you getting lost in the crowd, and if you ever find yourself forgetting your way back to the hotel, you still have the ability to find your own way out.
  • Knowing the real you- if you travel alone, there is more chance of you re-discovering yourself. I have said it once and I am saying it again. Travelling solo means understanding what you want, what you love, and the best way to spend a ‘Me’ time.
  • Empowering - Once you are capable of feeling confident by being alone, you will also feel empowered enough to take up any risk and any challenges on what might come your way.  You will be able to fight and defend, alone. Because, what else can be more empowering than  surviving alone in a new country which you have zero knowledge about.
  • Meeting and making more friends-  When you are on a solo trip,  you have more chances to talk with strangers and  even more likely to make friends easier, since you will be doing the talking yourself.  This is another great way to meet another solo traveler who is willing to share his/her stories with you.
  • Finding inspiration – When you venture out into the world alone, you will be prone to finding Inspirations on every little things you come across. A rush of creativity on finding a beautiful architectural structure, or maybe your inner poet will unleash on seeing a serene sunset or a probability of discovering your calling, and that's all because you have no one to distract you.
So, what are you waiting for, Go pack your bags, ditch the idea of waiting for your friends to say ‘Yes’ to go on a trip, and start on a journey to embrace your solitude. Trust me, you will have better experience and stories worth sharing. Tick off your bucket list to ‘Travel Solo’ and #SayYesToTheWorld.

Ahaglow Face Wash Review

Tried and Tested! For the past two months, I went through a very bad acne outburst phase. And when I say bad, it means BAD. So, with my knack for researching, I googled trying to find a cure or maybe at least some home remedies to treat my acne. But, a multiple trial and error and I gave up.  We know how pimple popping is more than just satisfying, hence the 'habit' left me with very bad scares on my forehead and chin, also I noticed more acne than I had in the first place.  Finally, a visit to my dermatologists came to my rescue. She prescribed  some medication i.e. face wash (I am coming to this), some anti-acne ointments, and a few capsules to take.  Obviously, I had to religiously follow the skin routine treatment, but in the hour of everything, there was this thing which I discovered… it was the face wash (Yep, the point of this blog, TBH) which I can give the entire credit to. AKA presenting to you my fountain of youth in a face wash (I am exaggerating a lil bit.) Ahaglow.…

Book Review: Pyjamas are Forgiving by Twinkle Khanna

Blurb: There sitting on that porch, that light-eyed man, a pitta like me, was my ex-husband and that woman whose inner element I was unaware of unless bitch is accepted as an undiscovered fourth dosha, was his young wife. In the serene sanctuary of Kerala’s Shanthamaaya spa where food is rationed, sex is forbidden and emotions cantered, Anshu meets someone familiar and deeply unsettling – her ex-husband. Bittersweet, funny and wise, Pyjamas Are Forgiving confirms Twinkle Khanna as one of our great storytellers. About the book: The book is narrated by a woman named, Anshu who is in her early 40’s (divorced) and is childless.  To take a well-earned break, Anshu is in a Kerala Ayurvedic Shanthamaaya spa, where food is rationed, sex forbidden, and emotions cantered, whilst on her journey to remove dosha, Anshu is met with a familiar, yet a deeply unsettling sight- her philandering ex-husband, Jay, with his much younger wife, Shalini- who is quite opposite from her, both in physical and emotio…

Dolce and Gabbana 'Dolce Floral Drops' Review

“Dolce Floral Drops is fresh and light, yet as precious as a morning caress.” – Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana

For those who know me, would tell you how much I lovehoardingcollecting perfumes. And for those who doesn't, now you do.

Today I will be reviewing a perfume from one of my favourite brands, Dolce and Gabbana ‘Dolce Floral Drops Eau de Toilette.’  I am very particular when it comes to choosing a perfume. I go for mild and delicate or say ‘not so strong’ kind of smell. This time, the pretty Dolce Floral drops caught my attention and I had to give it a try.

The scent is light and fresh with a twist of sweet yet dewy and soothing texture. Going by my preference, I love fragrances which are feminine and sweet, yet a spray and it should stay for long. D&G Floral drops comes in a thick glass, curved lines, and solid bottom, the cap is sculpted in the shape ofa white flower with petals, the bottle is a frosted glass which gives it a misty green colour.
Subtle with a hint of fr…
